Digitizing union newspapers in the quiet of a dark room, a filmmaker reflects on their relationship to labor.

Ting Su is a Chinese filmmaker and sound designer based between New York and Shenzhen. Her works have been screened at Visions du Réel, True/False, Melbourne International Film Festival, and UnionDocs, among others. With a tactile and sensitive gaze, her diaristic work crawls between themes of migration, time, and queer identity through hybrid non-fiction forms. Daily Worker is her first short film.
