It’s the last day of the month. Bowlers flock to the lanes of a bowling alley that has seen better days. Mira, the manager, decides to close early. She’s awaiting the arrival of a special visitor.
Arvin Belarmino is a Filipino filmmaker, alumnus of Talents Tokyo, Locarno Filmmakers Academy, and Cinéfondation Residency, Cannes. His films include TARANG (Best Short Film, Interfilm Berlin 2020), RADIKALS (Critics’ Week, Cannes 2024), SILIG (Directors’ Fortnight, Cannes 2024), and AGAPITO (Cannes 2025, TIFF 2025).
Kyla Romero is a Filipino screenwriter, director, and Psychology graduate. Her debut DOSENA won 3rd place at Gawad Alternatibo and screened at festivals including Busan 2023. She co-wrote HINAKDAL (Cinemalaya 2023), RIA, RADIKALS, and co-directed AGAPITO (Cannes 2025), the first Filipina director in competition.
