Set in a quiet suburban neighbourhood, ONE LAST WALK follows two lonely grandmothers who have formed an unexpected friendship despite sharing no common language. As one prepares to fly home to Korea after spending the summer in Canada, the women must now face the bittersweet reality of saying goodbye.
Tender and heartfelt, ONE LAST WALK is a story about loneliness, and the meaningful connections that can emerge in unexpected places. It is a celebration of human connection and a reflection on how even fleeting relationships can profoundly shape our lives.
Andrea Bang and Diana Bang are Korean-Canadian actors, writers, directors, and sisters based in Vancouver. Together, they have collaborated on multiple short films including KARAOKE MAMAS, IN LOVING MEMORY, and now ONE LAST WALK. They are drawn to stories about outsiders and the unexpected relationships that help us feel less alone. They are currently developing a comedy feature.
