An elderly Malaysian-Tamil couple discovers their male goat, set for ceremonial slaughter, is pregnant. Torn between faith and the expectations of their community, they struggle to decide whether to slaughter it or face the wrath of the gods.

Ananth Subramaniam is a Malaysian filmmaker of Tamil descent and co-founder of Idio Sync Inc, a production house that develops Tamil infused stories. His recent filmmaking credits include, THE HOUSE OF BRICK AND STONE which premiered at the Fantasia Film Festival, and LIAR LAND which won a Special Mention Prize at the Locarno Film Festival. He is currently working on his debut feature film THE PASSPORT, supported by Berlinale’s Talents Tokyo.
