Student filmmaker Clive Park casts Vernon, a man struggling with substance abuse, as the superhero in his short film. After the shoot, Clive pays Vernon, and they go their separate ways. Vernon buys his next kick with the money and Clive has friends over for a kickback. As the two go about their distinct days, the consequences of each of their actions come into sharp focus.

Joshua Koh and Dongin Matthew Chun are writer-directors based between Seoul and New York. They have been creatively collaborating since high school. They are focused on making films that sit with the discomfort, tenderness, and moral weight of worlds in collision.
